Roaming

Works right away but is usually the most expensive option: operator packages abroad cost several times more, and without a package every megabyte is billed.

Local SIM

You buy it on arrival: find a mobile shop, show your passport and swap out your own SIM card.

eSIM

Buy in advance and install at home with a QR code. Your own SIM stays in the phone and keeps receiving calls and texts. Data turns on after you land.

Networks and coverage

The eSIM works on the O2, Orange networks. The phone picks the network with the best signal. Coverage is the same as for local subscribers: cities and tourist areas are covered; in the mountains, on remote roads and at sea far from the shore the signal may drop.

Unlimited data in Slovakia

We do not offer unlimited plans for Slovakia. Instead there are packages up to 30 GB for 30 days — enough for maps, messengers, social media and daily video calls. The bigger the package, the cheaper each gigabyte — from 65 ₽.
